How to Transfer Apps from Android to Android

In Google Play, the official Android app market, there is a massive amount of apps for Android users. To those who are fond of playing with new apps, they are very likely to have installed lots of apps on their Android device. And since it’s not news that one might purchase a new generation, more powerful Android handset, apps transfer between Android and Android is another problem waiting to be fixed.

Today, we are gonna show you how to transfer apps from Android to Android with ease, using Android File Transfer. You can download a Free Trial version for now, and let’s go on to the steps guide.

Preparation: Install Android File Transfer and run the program. Click “Phone to Phone Transfer” mode to proceed.

Step 1: Connect both your Android mobiles to PC or Mac

Connect each of your Android mobiles to PC or Mac via USB. The program will soon recognize both mobiles and your phone models will show up on the interface.

Step 2: Transfer apps from Android to Android

Aside there are “Source” and “Destination”. In the middle there are “Contents” including Contacts, Call logs, Text messages, Apps, Photos, Music, and Video able to be transferred. Here we mark “Apps” only to transfer only Apps content.

Files will be transferred from “Source” to “Destination”. If not, click the “Flip” button to switch position.

When everything is checked, click “Start Copy” to start transferring Apps to your new Android. The progress bar will soon rush to a full 100%. Click “OK” to finish.

Note: The “Clear data before copy” on the “Destination” side is used to clear corresponding data on destination phone in case of duplicate files. Mark it only when necessary.
