How to Transfer SMS from iPhone to Android

Maybe it’s necessary for me to show you details on how to transfer SMS from iPhone to Android. The process is simply reversed, if you have already know, just skip it.

Step 1: Install Android File Transfer and launch the software

Download the suitable version of Android File Transfer according to your computer operating system, and install it on your computer. Launch the program, click “Phone to Phone Transfer” on the interface.

Note: iTunes need to be installed on your computer in order to allow Android File Transfer access your iPhone data.


Step 2: Connect your iPhone and Android to computer

Using two USB cables, connect both your phones to computer. If well connected, both phones will be recognized and phone models will display on the interface.


Step 3: Transfer SMS from iPhone to Android

Transmission path will be from “Source” to “Destination”. To transfer SMS from iPhone to Android, your iPhone should be on the “Source” side. Then in the middle, select “Text messages” only in the content box. Click “Start Copy” to transfer SMS. Then click “OK” to finish.

Note: “Clear data before copy” is for you to clear corresponding data on destination phone, data that you select in the content box. Select it only when necessary.

Step 1: Make a backup file using BlackBerry® Desktop Software

If your computer doesn’t have BlackBerry® Desktop Software yet, please search and download the official BlackBerry® Desktop Software for installation. Then launch it, connect your BlackBerry to computer with USB cable. When your BlackBerry is detected, click “Back up now” on the interface shown below. Close BlackBerry® Desktop Software and disconnect your BlackBerry when the backup is done.


Step 2: Launch Android File Transfer for restoration

Download the right version and install Android File Transfer on your computer. Select “Restore From Backup” mode, then connect your Android for detection.


Step 3: Transfer contacts from BlackBerry to Android

On the left side, click the menu and select “BlackBerry backup file” to view all BlackBerry backup files created by BlackBerry® Desktop Software. Choose the recent backup, then check only “Contacts” in the middle, click “Start Copy” to copy contacts from BlackBerry to Android. Click “OK” when it is done.

How to Transfer Contacts from Android to Android
